Learn how to register, join auctions, and place winning bids
Register an Account
Create your free account to start bidding on auctions.
Click "Register Now"
Find the Register button on the homepage or navigation menu.
Fill in Your Details
Enter your name, email, phone number, and ID number. Create a secure password.
Verify Your Account
Check your email for a verification link and confirm your registration.
What You'll Need:
- Valid email address
- South African ID number
- Contact phone number
- Physical address
Register for an Auction
Before you can bid, you must register for the specific auction you want to participate in.
Browse Auctions
Go to the Auctions page and find an upcoming auction that interests you.
View Auction Details
Click on the auction to see all available items, dates, and terms.
Click "Register for Auction"
Accept the terms and conditions to confirm your registration.
Important:
You must be registered for an auction BEFORE it starts to place bids.
Make sure to read the Terms & Conditions carefully.
Place Your Bids
When the auction goes live, you can start bidding on items in real-time.
Join the Live Auction
When the auction starts, click "Join Auction" to enter the live bidding room.
Watch the Current Item
The auctioneer will move through items one by one. The active item is highlighted.
Click to Bid
Click the bid button to place your bid at the next increment. You can also enter a higher amount.
Win the Item
If you're the highest bidder when bidding closes, you win! You'll receive notification of your winning bid.
Pro Tips:
- Set a maximum budget before bidding
- Watch the item before bidding to understand its value
- Bid confidently - hesitation can cost you
- Check buyer's premium and VAT applicable
Bid Increments:
Each item has a minimum bid increment. You can bid higher than the increment, but not lower.
After You Win
Congratulations! Here's what happens after you've won an item.
Receive Invoice
You'll receive an invoice by email with the total amount due including buyer's premium and VAT.
Make Payment
Pay via EFT or as specified in the auction terms. Payment is usually due within 24-48 hours.
Collect Your Item
Once payment is confirmed, arrange collection as per the auction terms.
Please Note:
- All sales are final - no returns
- Late payment may result in penalties
- Items must be collected within the specified timeframe
- Bring your ID and proof of payment for collection
