Registration & Account
Click on the "Register" button in the top navigation. Fill in your personal details including name, email, phone number, and ID number. Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email. You may also need to submit FICA documents for verification before bidding.
Click on "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't receive the email within a few minutes.
Bidding
First, register for the specific auction you want to participate in. During the live auction, navigate to the item you wish to bid on and click the "Bid" button. Your bid must be higher than the current bid by at least the minimum increment shown.
No. All bids are legally binding and cannot be retracted once placed. Please ensure you are certain before placing any bid. If you win an item, you are obligated to complete the purchase.
A reserve price is the minimum amount the seller will accept for an item. If bidding does not reach the reserve price, the item may not be sold. Reserve prices are confidential and not disclosed to bidders.
Payment & Collection
We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), credit card payments, and direct bank transfers. Full payment details will be provided in your winning confirmation email.
Payment is typically due within 3 business days of the auction closing, unless otherwise specified in the auction terms. Failure to pay may result in forfeiture of the item and account suspension.
Collection details and location will be provided in your winning notification. You must bring proof of payment and a valid ID. Collection timeframes are specified in each auction's terms.
General
"Voetstoots" is an Afrikaans legal term meaning "as is, where is." Items sold voetstoots are sold in their current condition with no warranties. We encourage buyers to inspect items before bidding when possible.
